Closed until told otherwise
Closed until further notice
Unfortunately, due to new government guidelines regarding COVID-19 we are having to close our doors until told otherwise. As sad as this is for us, we cannot deny it is the correct decision as the health of our customers and staff is our top priority.
We'd like to give a huge thank you to all those who have supported us through this difficult time and joined us for the last 'hoorah' yesterday evening.
We'll continue to keep you posted and entertained on our social medias (make sure to like/follow) and let you know our plans to celebrate our re-opening when it eventually arrives!
Keep yourselves safe and look after each other. We look forward to seeing you all again as soon as possible.

An update from us at The Old School Inn regarding COVID-19.
Firstly, some exciting news! We are currently planning the launch of our food collection/ delivery menu for those who still want to enjoy our fantastic meals from the comfort of their own homes. We look forward to launching this next week and more details are to follow.
Our industry is currently facing a lot of uncertainty at the moment with the government choosing not to enforce closure throughout the hospitality industry. Due to this we plan to stay open until further notice as deciding not to do so would dramatically impact our business stability and also, more importantly our staff team’s livelihood.
This being said, we want to keep our customers and staff as safe as possible whilst we continue to stay open which is why we are continuing to implement more and more procedures to ensure the highest level of safety is maintained in our venue.
- We are going through and re-scheduling some our restaurant bookings to make sure a safe distance is kept between all of our tables following the government’s call to adhere to social distancing.
- Antibacterial handwash and hand drying facilities are available in all restrooms for our customers, as well as in staff areas.
- We will be installing an antibacterial hand sanitizer dispenser in the foyer for everyone to use.
- All surfaces are being wiped by our staff with antibacterial products between customers both in our restaurant and bar areas.
- We’re continuing to only accept card payments.
We continue to assess the situation frequently and have closely aligned ourselves with the latest government advice and local authority and will inform you of any further updates. We’d also like to thank all of our customers for supporting us and other local businesses through this difficult time.
